Rolling to safety
Emma sat stunned, watching as the freed creature curled itself instantly into a tight, thick ball. It rolled across the dirt with surprising speed, barreling right toward Emma’s legs.
Before she could even react, the animal came to a stop, resting gently against her left thigh, leaving Emma breathless and amazed.
