A Desperate Attempt
Frantically, Ellen grabbed the dress, her hands trembling. Carefully reading the washing instructions, she believed a quick wash would restore its former glory. With cautious optimism, she placed it in the washing machine, a sigh of relief pushing out of her being as she turned it on.
But horror struck when she returned to find the dress entangled in the agitator. Desperation painted her face as she tried to untangle the delicate threads. And the gala was just three days away!
