The Proposal
A few months later, John surprised Amanda with a romantic dinner. “Amanda, I know I’ve made you wait, and I’m sorry,” he said, taking her hand. “I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” He got down on one knee and opened a small box, revealing a beautiful ring. “Will you marry me?”
