27. Kids Asking Things For Their Parents Always Gets Me
I was a Santa for three years in college. The most memorable moment—a sad one—was a young boy who asked if I could bring him a “new Daddy because his had died during overseas service and his Mommy was lonely.” I saw the look of sorrow and pain in his pretty mother’s face, even as she was trying to make Christmas special for her son.
