Legend has it that the first time Lori Fieri met her husband, it was to meet with a friend at a restaurant. Guy ran the restaurant, and he had fired Lori’s friend. Guy approached them and asked them to leave, Lori refused and got in his face, and Guy had no choice but to let them stay.
Despite the rocky start, the host of Diners, Drive-Ins, And Dives says that he knew he wanted to be with Lori the minute he saw her. They married in 1995, and according to Lori, she was instrumental in a lot of his brand identity, including changing his surname from Ferry to Fiery.
