Phoebe Cates’ acting career wasn’t a very long one, but she made many fans during that time. Her rise to stardom was mainly due to her role as Linda Barrett in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Today, the 57-year-old is the owner of a New York boutique named Blue Tree.
Cates didn’t know it then, but she met the love of her life in actor Kevin Kline while auditioning for The Big Chill in the early ’80s. Although she didn’t get the part, the encounter gave her a life partner. Earlier in 2020, the couple celebrated 31 years of marriage alongside their two children, although they’ve been together for 35.
