The world was introduced to Jonathan Owens as Simone Biles’ boyfriend, as the two-time Olympian shared the news herself in August 2020. Today, they are still together, and the Houston Texans football player even shared his feelings about his girlfriend’s experience at the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
As the 26-year-old Owens shared with reporters at a recent press conference, he felt sick seeing Biles in such a difficult situation. The 24-year-old gymnast withdrew from participating in four out of five individual event finals to prioritize her mental health and safety. Also, it was the longest that these two had spent away from each other since starting their relationship.
