Sam Elliott & Katharine Ross — Together For 36 Years
More than Tim Burton and Tom Selleck, Sam Elliot is recognized by his mustache. Although it’s not clear when Elliot started wearing a mustache, we doubt we would recognize him without it. Come to think of it, when he had to shave it off for his role in the series Justified, he said he feels undressed.
One thing that has lasted longer than his mustache is his marriage to Katherine Ross. They met on the set of the iconic western Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. They took it slow, only started dating in 1978, and married in 1984. Elliot most recently starred in the Netflix comedy series, The Ranch.
