Veronica Hamel played the role of Commissioner Hayes in her last television film Bone Eater, and ever since 2008, has not made a comeback. Hamel was just seventeen when she first started modeling for Vogue magazine and participated in multiple photoshoots and catwalk contests. Before debuting in the films, she worked as a model for over a decade and earned a six-figure salary for herself.
With the role of Joyce Davenport in Hill Street Blues, Hamel proved her mettle as an actress. Eventually, the series turned into the longest-running television series from 1981-87 and Hamel got acknowledged by the Emmy Awards with five nominations for the best actress category.
