Nicholas Cochrane is a popular English actor known as Andy McDonald in ITV soap opera Coronation Street. After Coronation Street, Cochrane co-launched a short-lived magazine about soap operas and co-hosted a show on Peak FM in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He also did television guest appearances in Loose Women, Canada AM, The South Bank Show, and Celebrity Eggheads.
Cochrane continued to act in TV serials such as Heartbeat and became a hit on the stage and did a guest appearance in an episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors. In his spare time, Cochrane enjoys playing and watching most sports. He lives in Manchester with his wife Denise and their two children.
