Keith Carradine is an American actor, born on August 8, 1949, in San Mateo, California, USA, to actress Sonia Sorel and actor John Carradine. He had a difficult childhood and was primarily raised by his maternal grandmother. After high school, Carradine studied drama at Colorado State University before finally launching his professional acting career in 1969 with Hair.
In 1991, he appeared in the play The Will Rogers Follies, for which he got the Tony Award nomination for Best Actor. Keith is also a renowned songwriter of popular songs such as I am Easy and Mr. Blue. The actor is currently married to Hayley DuMond and is the father of 4 children.
