Gerald Tommaso DeLouise, professionally known as Burt Young, is an American actor, painter as well as a restaurant owner. Additionally, Burt is a veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. He then turned pro, building a 17-0 record while using three different names.
As for his acting career, Young first gained attention for his roles as vicious thugs in movies including The Gambler, Across 110th Street, Chinatown, and The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight. Apart from his acting career, Burt also paints, and his works have been shown in galleries all around the world. He has worked with writer Gabriele Tinti as an artist, creating the cover for All Over.
