Carl Weathers | Age 74
On January 14, 1948, Carl Weathers was born in Louisiana. Day worker was his father’s line of work. He started participating in sports at a young age. Carl received an athletic scholarship to attend St. Augustine High School. He participated in a number of sports during his high school years, including football, judo, and wrestling.
Carl soon played the most important role of his career in the American sports drama movie Rocky. As Apollo Creed, a fierce, unchallenged boxing champion, he gained enormous popularity and acclaim. The venture was a massive commercial hit and took home three Oscars. After making several more movies, Weathers returned to play Apollo Creed in Rocky II.
