Fannie Flagg is a legendary actor, comedian, and author from the United States. She was born on September 21, 1944, as Patricia Neal. Flagg is most known for her work on the 1987 book Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, which was also made into the film Fried Green Tomatoes, and for her appearances as a semi-regular panelist on the game program Match Game from 1973 until 1982.
Her acting credits also include supporting roles as well as prominent roles in the following movies and television shows: Grease, Five Easy Pieces, Crazy in Alabama, Stay Hungry, and the original Broadway production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
