Michael Callan | Age 86
Michael Callan is a famous American actor who has starred in films, television and broadway. Callan began his career in the late 1950s and rose to prominence in the early 1960s. Some of Michael’s most notable roles include featuring the popular character “Riff” in the famous broadway show West Side Story.
Aside from featuring in numerous broadway shows, he was consistently a part of Columbia Pictures. Callan’s debut for the studio was in the wonderful 1959 film. They Came to Cordura, starring Gary Cooper. Callan received the lead part of Peter Christopher in the NBC sitcom Occasional Wife, which was produced by Columbia’s Screen Gems, after eight years with them.
