Jamaican-American model, singer, and actor Grace Jones is a force to be reckoned with. In 1999 she ranked 82nd on VH3’s 100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll list for her contribution to music. Grace has also been the recipient of a Q Idol Award in 2008. Her work has inspired several great artists like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Besides, Jones was a significant influence during the cross-dressing movement in the 80s. After migrating with her family to America when she was thirteen, Grace eventually began her modeling career. She started in New York and later moved to Paris to work with fashion giants like YSL and Kenzo.
