Helen Worth | Age 71
Best known for her role as Gail Platt in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, Helen Worth is a fabulous actress. For this role, she won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Inside Soap Awards. She stepped into the acting field at a very young age. So to say, she was only ten when she first appeared on television, reading stories on Granada Television’s Scene at 6.30.
She graduated from a drama school and joined a repertory theatre. After that, she appeared in several films, including Doctor Who story, Within These Walls, and The Doctors. She is also a part of the Born Free Foundation and supports ActionAid charity.
