Rowan Atkinson is known for portraying the hilarious character of Mr. Bean, but when it comes to wheels, the BAFTA Award winner is all business. He’s one of those that are not content to just let their supercars sit in the garage. This might explain why he bashed his McLaren F1 at least twice.
The insurance for repairing the car alone cost at least £910K ($1.39 million). Despite the damages, Atkinson was able to sell off the automobile at $12.2 million in 2015. This meant he earned a sweet profit of over $7 million on the original price he purchased it for back in 1997.
