Nicko McBrain has sold over 100 million albums with the band Iron Maiden, but despite his wealth, he often preferred to buy used whips instead of brand new cars. That was until he saw the 2013 Jaguar XKR-S.
With the help of Jaguar’s design team, he made sure the car was perfectly customized to suit his tastes. The legendary drummer was so proud of the result that he showed it off to the media. He revealed that Jaguar only charged him a little higher the retail price for the customization. The 2013 XKR-S cost $79K on the original retail price so it’s possible McBrain paid a bit above that figure.
