Basketball has long been recognized as the highest-paying sport in the world, so it’s no wonder its stars can afford extravagant displays of luxury. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is an NBA legend who is undoubtedly one of the greatest basketballers of all time.
That said, the ex-Lakers players followed the memo when he proudly showed off his sleek vintage 1948 Packard Convertible on Twitter in 2014. He purchased the car for $66K from a Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. After spending most of his playing days avoiding the media, Abdul-Jabbar changed a bit after he retired. He even guest-starred in a series called “Dave” in 2020.
