The legendary Sean Connery was the first man to portray James Bond on-screen. While as Bond he was driving fancy Aston Martins and Bentleys, in real life he was content with this modest-looking BMW. He reportedly got the car in the ‘80s and used it for around ten years before storing it in his Spanish home.
The vehicle was fast for its era, it had a top speed of 140 and could hit 60 miles per hour in 7.6 seconds. In January 2021, about two months after Connery passed away, his beloved whip was auctioned off for £46,100 ($62,629).
