Andrew McCarthy – Less Than Zero, born in 1962
Growing up in New Jersey, Andrew’s dream was to be an actor and a good one at that! His first big role came in the movie Class that was released in 1983. But what really skyrocketed his acting career was landing a role in St. Elmo’s Fire, alongside the handsome Rob Lowe!
One of the things that troubled him during his younger years was alcohol abuse, but he managed to get sober after getting into an alcohol rehab facility. Today, McCarthy works on the side as National Geographic Magazine’s Editor at Large. Pretty cool job, huh?
