Game of Thrones’ ultimate thug-like grandma Olenna Tyrell is portrayed by non-other than Dame Diana Rigg. Even before her association with the medieval show (where surprisingly no personal injury lawyer is present despite the deaths), she was already a big star in the big theater.
The Queen of Sassy Remarks also has a similar real-life title: she is a Dame. In 1988, she was honored to become a member of the Order of the British empire and she eventually became a Dame in 1994.
