The New York-born and bred Steve Guttenberg had quite a number of roles back in the day, including Police Academy, Short Circuit, and Three Men and a Baby. And he earned those fat paychecks with these challenging roles! Interestingly, he first went to L.A. with only $300 in his pocket to pursue an acting career, and now, his net worth has grown to over $15 million!
Guttenberg is thought of as a constant and classy presence in Hollywood, and we are sure Hollywood would not be the same without him! Today, he spends most of his time involved in charities, not to mention being an active Children’s Ambassador.
Shelley Long – Cheers, born in 1949
Emmy award-winning actress Shelley Long became a household name in the United States when she was cast for the role of Diane Chambers on the show Cheers. Aside from the successful sitcom, Long has appeared in numerous other shows and films such as The Brady Bunch Movie, Dr.T & the Woman, Night Shift, and Troop Beverly Hills, among many others.
She was seen in the popular show Modern Family as the beloved Deedee until very recently. You’d be surprised to learn that the actress is 68 years old today, in spite of the fact that she has managed to sustain her youthful glow!
