Who here does not recognize Cassandra Peterson on the left with normal-looking makeup but knows exactly who we are talking about looking at the photo of Elvira on the right? Most of us know Cassandra as Elvira, the Dark Mistress, the goth, horror hostess of the LA TV channel ‘KHJ-TV.’
Her show made her famous during the ’80s and since then, her smart humor and effervescent personality kept her career going! Cassandra is still in the foreground, it seems, as she received the Vincent Price Award in the Hollywood Horror Festival in 2018!
