Strange noises
Mark mentioned hearing strange noises coming from John’s house at night. ‘I thought I was imagining things at first,’ Mark admitted.
‘But it’s been happening regularly.’ John’s eyes widened. ‘What kind of noises?’ he pressed. Mark described faint whispers and creaking sounds, usually around the early hours of the morning.
‘It’s weird, almost like someone’s there but not there,’ he added, making John more determined to find out.
