When singer Alanis Morissette hit it big in the 1990s, thanks to her smash breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill, many commented that she doesn’t have the typical “pop star” looks. Instead of wearing lots of makeup, she’s always opted for just a little bit. “I love, on one hand, to play sports and be really masculine in a lot of ways,” Morissette explained Elle Magazine. “[But] I also live for femininity and the female adventures we can have with our beauty and our aesthetics.”
