The creature’s presence in the park, a place Cole knew like the back of his hand, deepened the mystery.
It was as if the creature had appeared out of nowhere. “How did it even get here?” someone asked aloud.
No tracks led to the riverbank, no signs of a struggle or disturbance. It was as if the creature had materialized from the mist itself, an enigma in this familiar landscape.
