Cole stood at the end of the tree, sizing it up and down. Because the tree trunk wasn’t as thick, it also made it harder for him to cross over without falling.
He had to do it very slowly; otherwise, this would all have been for nothing. Without thinking much more about it, he set his foot onto the tree, ready to risk his life.
