Mercy James – Student
Madonna decided to adopt yet another child back in 2009, a girl called Mercy James. However, she was rejected by the Malawi High Court. Not wanting to give up on the beautiful little girl, the singer opted for a very charitable investment.
She built a children’s hospital in Malawi which she named The Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care. Madonna is now sixty-one-years-old and has a fortune of between $590 and $800M, so this was not a problem for her. She adopted four children in total and has two of her own.
