MAYIM BIALIK
Mayim Bialik captured everyone’s attention when she appeared in the NBC sitcom Blossom as the show’s titular protagonist during its run from 1991 to 1995. The San Diego native built her reputation as a determined performer who knew her way around comedy. She was also cast in Woody Allen’s 1994 made-for-TV film adaptation of his Broadway play Don’t Drink the Water.
Lately, Bialik is known to younger audiences for her role in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory as neurobiologist Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, Ph.D. who earned her doctorate degree in neurobiology from Harvard University, similar to the actress’ own educational path.
