Tia Carrere saw her fame quickly soar high when she joined the cast of the ongoing primetime soap opera General Hospital in the role of Jade Soong. She earned TV acting credits through her performances on TV series like The A-Team and MacGyver, as well as movie acting credits through her appearance in the Wayne’s World film franchise as Wayne’s girlfriend Cassandra Wong.
Carrere earned more film acting credits through her appearances in blockbuster movies like True Lies where she portrayed an art dealer working for terrorists. Now 52 years old, she had gone through two divorces and was a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice.
