Jake Prepares
Jake caught the kit like a pro, barely breaking stride. He moved closer to the lioness, kneeling down, opening the kit with experienced hands.
‘Alright, let’s see what you need,’ he muttered, more to the lioness than to us. His movements were precise and gentle, like he’d done this a thousand times.
We watched in awe as he prepared to examine her, all thoughts of our own safety momentarily forgotten. This was Jake and the lioness’s moment now.
