The team hesitated, reminding Clair they had to wait for the coastguard’s plan. “But we don’t have time!” Clair protested, her voice rising.
“What if that really is Ethan?” The crew remained uncertain, looking back at the captain. “We can’t just abandon the plan,”
he replied sternly. “We need to be sure we’re not making things worse.” Clair’s frustration boiled over, but she knew she had to stay calm to convince them.
