Nervous Glances
Sitting there, I exchanged nervous glances with my husband. Our hearts raced as we watched Jake move closer to the lioness.
‘Do you think he’s got this?’ I whispered. My husband shrugged, eyes glued to the scene. It was like watching a movie you couldn’t tear your eyes away from, even though you’re terrified of what’s about to happen.
Everyone around us seemed as unsure as we were, yet we couldn’t look away.
