Tapping Frantically
Ethan’s breathing became shallow as he felt the walls closing in. He feared suffocation, but he had to keep trying.
He tapped frantically on every surface within reach, hoping for some response. His palms slid against the slippery baleen plates, fingers searching for any small gap that could offer escape.
His flashlight flickered, throwing fleeting shadows across the whale’s vast mouth. He couldn’t see much, but he kept tapping, praying the whale would react.
