Emily Graduates High School
Spring was in the air, and with it came Emily’s high school graduation. I watched her walk across the stage in her cap and gown, pride swelling in my chest.
‘You did it, Em!’ I cheered, giving her the biggest hug. Her eyes twinkled with excitement about the future.
‘I’m ready for college, Mom, and everything else life throws at me.’ Her confidence was contagious, and I felt grateful for her adventurous spirit.
