Transforming Spaces
With newfound ownership, I decided to reshape the house into a space that was truly mine. Painters came to help me change the colors and life of every room.
Out with the old curtains, those memories of their control; in came something fresh and alive. The carpet?
Gone—as if wiping away any trace of their presence. Each room I redid was like reclaiming a piece of myself, setting it free and making it my own.
