Unseen figures
Shapes flickered between frames, blurry silhouettes near the old cluster of houses. Wilson stared at the screen, jaw tight. “There are people here. I knew it.”
The figures seemed to dart in and out of sight, never holding still for long. Jake felt a cold shiver run down his back as he watched them.
