Laughter in the Crowd
Children laughed, clapping at the spectacle. Adults pointed phones, recording the display. “That’s amazing,” someone said. “I didn’t know they could do that!” Another added, “It must be begging for food.”
For a while, it looked like entertainment, the animal spinning, kicking, squealing as if performing. David chuckled, squeezing Julia’s shoulders. “Guess our engagement got upstaged by a hippo,” he joked.
