Mark stepped closer and began examining the surface more carefully. The exterior was worn and partially buried in the sand, with sections of metal reflecting the bright sunlight.
Several small, round windows were built into the sides, each darkened by dust and age. The object clearly hadn’t arrived recently, which only made its presence more puzzling.
