A brief flash of reflected sunlight caught Mark’s eye. Just beyond the road, partially surrounded by sand and scrub, was something metallic.
It didn’t match the natural surroundings at all. Objects like this didn’t usually appear in such remote areas, and that contrast immediately sparked Mark’s curiosity.
