Heading to the ranger station
Elliot agreed and joined the hikers as they made their way back to the nearest ranger station. They picked up their pace, moved quickly through the forest, keeping an eye out for any signs of danger.
The area seemed eerily quiet, which only added to their sense of urgency. As they walked, Elliot couldn’t help but glance over his shoulder, feeling as though they were being watched.
