Arriving at the compound
Matthew was ordered to come to the compound. He doubted they saw him as a suspect but did not feel safe. The car’s previous owner was a policeman who turned out a criminal.
He didn’t know who to trust. Driving up, the overseer recognized Matthew instantly, so he simply waved, and smiled.
