Removing the Panel
Matthew carefully loosened the screws around the door’s edge. With each turn, his anticipation grew. What was inside? A forgotten tool? Old wiring?
He tugged the panel, but it wouldn’t budge. After minutes of prying, it popped off, revealing a narrow, dusty compartment. Holding his breath, he shone his flashlight inside.
