Checking the engine
Back at his garage, Matthew pulled the sedan in and popped the hood. Though happy with his purchase, the strange sound gnawed at him.
He suspected a loose bolt or small component rattling with the engine’s vibration. He leaned in with a flashlight, scanning carefully. Yet, to his surprise, everything looked neat and solid. Nothing about the engine explained the mysterious sound at all.
