Meeting the Owner
As Matthew stepped back to take it all in, a voice called from the lot’s office. A man in a grease-stained jacket waved a friendly hand, clipboard tucked under his arm.
“Here for the auction?” he asked as he walked over. Matthew nodded and introduced himself. The man gestured toward the sedan with a smile. “She’s a beauty—you’ve got an excellent eye, young man.”
