Securing Our Safety
Determined to keep things secure, I upgraded to a brighter, smarter camera system. Meanwhile, Isabella and I joined a local women’s safety group, learning and laughing together.
It built on the solidarity we found, reinforcing the security we felt. Empowered by knowledge and surrounded by support, a sense of reassurance returned to our lives.
We survived the storm, and now we were taking steps to ensure that peace lasted.
