Jumping at Shadows
The nights became tense, and every creak made me jump. My heart would thud whenever the wind howled wrong, casting shadows across the walls.
It felt like Leo was lurking somewhere, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. The night noises became my worst enemy, and sleep was hard to come by.
Even my cat seemed on edge, pacing restlessly as if sensing my unease. It was unsettling, living in constant anticipation.
