Julian acknowledges Elara’s bravery and the sacrifices she made in raising the children alone. ‘You’ve done an incredible job,’ he said, his admiration obvious.
Elara blushed, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. ‘I did what had to be done,’ she replied softly.
Julian felt a renewed sense of respect for her. ‘I want to be there for them now,’ he said earnestly.
